Founded in 2013, the Stern Lab began as a small research team at UC Davis. Now at NC State CVM, the expanded laboratory team is committed to transforming the field of veterinary cardiology and training the next generation of leading veterinary clinician-scientists. The Stern Lab bridges the knowledge-gap between benchtop research and clinical veterinary medicine. Our primary research focus encompasses genetic discovery, pharmacogenomics, and innovative drug development. We’re dedicated to improving heart health in both animals and humans through cutting-edge science and research collaborations around the globe.
